Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Friday June 13: Bratislava
This morning, check out of your hotel and depart for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. En route, stop in the World Heritage Site town of Telc with its astounding array of Italian Renaissance and Gothic architecture. Have lunch on your own in Telc. Continue on to Bratislava and check into your hotel before having dinner tonight as a group. (B,D)
Day 2, Saturday June 14: Budapest
This morning, a local guide will give you a guided tour of this charming city. Situated along the Danube River, you'll visit its medieval Old Town experience its vibrant café culture. After time for lunch on your own, continue to Budapest Hungary. (B,D)
Day 3, Sunday June 15: Budapest
Meet your local guide for a sightseeing tour of Budapest, that teaches you about the amazing 1,000-year history of this city, which is split in half by the Danube River; the Buda district on one side and the Pest district on the other. See Heroes' Square, St. Stephen's Basilica, and the spectacular Hungarian Parliament building, then cross the famous Chain Bridge to take in wonderful views from the neo-Roman Fisherman's Bastion, and enjoy entrance to Matthias Church. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace before you come together for a final farewell dinner together. (B,D)
Day 4, Monday June 16: Departure
Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States.
