Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Tuesday March 16: New York City
Depart from DFW on your flight to New York City! Flight options DFW-NYC allow you to maximize your time in The Big Apple! Upon arrival in New York, meet your Tour Manager at baggage claim. Once all luggage is collected, your Tour Manager will lead you to your private motorcoach awaiting your to transfer into the city and the vibrant area of Times Square. Check in at the Springhill Suites on 46th street begins at 3pm. Porterage of your bags is included along with safe storage should the hotel not be ready to check the group in as a whole. Kick off the John Paul II Theatre Department's tour with a walk to a "America's Parish Church, St. Patrick's Cathedral. Your visit here is led by your Tour Manager and allows you to use this time to admire the Neo-Gothic architecture and take quiet time in this sacred place. Return to the Times Square area to check in to your rooms and have a bit of time to relax and refresh before a special pre-show welcome dinner at a local restaurant. After dessert is served and enjoyed, you're off to see your first Broadway show on the Great White Way! (tickets included), During your stay in NYC, there will also be the chance to interact with an acter or actress from a current Broadway show as part of the "Meet the Artist program"! (D)
Day 2, Wednesday March 17: New York City
A full, hot American breakfast buffet is available every morning during your stay. After a healthy start enjoy a walk to another NYC icon, the Empire State Building. Tickets are included to ascend to the 86th floor for a one of a kind view of Manhattan. After this bird's eye view of the city and beyond, head to the American Museum of Natural History for a fun and interactive visit. Later this afternoon, participate in a Broadway workshop that allows you to sharpen your theatrical skills with this hands-on class of dramatic techniques. After a bit of free time, enjoy another pre-theatre dinner at a local restaurant before taking in another evening performance on Broadway. (B,D)
Day 3, Thursday March 18: New York City
Awake this morning in the city that never sleeps and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before heading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a chance to see the amazing collections from artists of centuries past and present. Your visit will give you a glimpse into the vast amd diverse collection and rotating exhibits that bring millions of visitors through the doors from all corners of the world. Following your visit, head back to Broadway for time to grab a quick lunch on your own before a Broadway show matinee. Following this performance, enjoy an early dinner at a local restaurant before seeing your fourth Broadway Show performance this evening. (B,D)
Day 4, Friday March 19: Departure
After breakfast at your hotel and hotel check out, there is some free time to shop for last minute souvenirs before transferring to the airport for your return flight to DFW. (B)
