Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday June 21: New York City

Depart from Denver on your flight to New York City. For those opting to book your own airfare, your airport transfers to and from the hotel are under your own arrangements. For those booking flights through Encore, you will meet your Encore Tour Manager at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. There will be time to freshen up, and enjoy your part os The Big Apple for the remainder of the afternoon! This evening at 7pm it is time to gather together in the hotel lobby of the Intercontinental Times Square and walk to an iconic New York restaurant, Carmine's for a festive welcome dinner.

Day 2, Tuesday June 22: New York City

Enjoy a full American breakfast at your hotel this morning that is included with your room reservation. Later this morning, transfer by private deluxe motorcoach to Lincoln Center for a private guided tour of this amazing facility at 10:00 am. Guided Lincoln Center tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic performing arts center, including its history, architecture, and vibrant campus. You'll explore venues like David Geffen Hall, the Metropolitan Opera House, and the David H. Koch Theater, and learn about the various organizations that call Lincoln Center home. The tours also showcase public spaces like Josie Robertson Plaza, Damrosch Park, and the David Rubenstein Atrium, along with its unique features like a vertical garden. There is time for lunch on your own in the area before heading back to the Intercontinental Hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore New York on your own. Dinner is under own arrangement this evening.

Day 3, Wednesday June 23: New York City

Awake in "The City that never sleeps" and enjoy included breakfast at your hotel. Later this morning, transfer by private motorcoach to the incomparable Metropolitan Museum of Art with your Tour Manager. Upon your arrival at the Met Museum, meet your Guide who will lead you on your private tour of the Museum's vast collection of art. A private guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (the Met) in New York City will offer a curated experience of its vast collection, potentially including iconic masterpieces like Van Gogh's "Self Portrait with a Straw Hat" or Monet's "Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies", as well as ancient artifacts, European paintings, and American art. Tours often begin with the Great Hall and delve into specific areas like Medieval Europe or the American Wing, depending on the tour's focus and duration. Guides will provide historical context, stories behind the art, and insights into the museum's history and collections. Following the tour, transfer back to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon and evening to enjoy the city! Dinnere is under own arrangement this evening.

Day 4, Thursday June 24: New York City

Enjoy a leisurely Sunday morning for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Early this afternoon, transfer via private motorcoach to the once in a lifetime experience this afternoon at Carnegie Hall! Your Hall contract includes two and a half hours of rehearsal before your relaxing break and your Carnegoie Hall performance. Celebrate this fantastic musical evening with a free night in Manhattan.

Day 5, Friday June 25: Departure

This morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. This afternoon is yours to explore more of New York City at your own pace. You may wish to visit Bryant Park Winter Village to explore the holiday shops. Or visit one of New York City's famous museums, such as the Broadway Museum, or the Museum of Modern Art, famous for housing van Gogh’s The Starry Night. Later this afternoon, meet at the hotel, board your coach and depart for the airport for your return trip home.
