Day 1, Thursday June 3: New Orleans

Depart Denver for a fun weekend in New Orleans filled with music, food, and creole culture! Arrive in New Orleans and meet your Encore Tours Tour Manager and board the motorcoach for your transfer into the city and hotel check in. This afternoon, begin your exploration of New Orleans with a visit to the The National World War II Museum and a viewing of the "Beyond All Boundaries" Imax Movie. This evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at the famous Arnaud's Restaurant on Bourbon Street. Dine on delicious creole inspired dishes in your elegant private dining room overlooking the lively streets of The French Quarter.

Day 2, Friday June 4: New Orleans

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a guided tour of New Orleans, exploring its rich history, vibrant culture, and distinctive architecture. Travel through the elegant Garden District with its grand mansions and oak-lined streets, then continue into the historic French Quarter, where you'll have free time for lunch in the historic French Market. The rest of the day is yours to explore New Orleans. This evening, dinner is on your own to enjoy in one of New Orlean's amazing eateries. Day 3, Saturday June 5: New Orleans

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, transfer out into the Bayou to enjoy a fun group swamp tour and see the wildlife and natural beauty of this unique area. At the end of your ride in the swamps, enjoy a delicious lunch at Segnette Landing Restaurant savouring delicious creole specialities. Return to New Orleans for free time before rehearsal and a joint concert with a local ensemble. Dinner is on your own in this city known for its delicious cuisine. (B,L)

Day 4, Sunday June 6: New Orleans

After breakfast at your hotel, provide music for Sunday liturgy at the historic St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the elegant Garden District of New Orleans. The grand homes tell a story of the elegant past of New Orleans. Enjoy free time to stroll along the river, or visit the many colorful shops of the French Quarter. This evening, enjoy a farewell Jazz cruise dinner! (B,D)

Day 5, Monday June 7: Departure

This morning after breakfast at your hotel and hotel check-out, have free time to pick up some last minute souvenirs before transferring to the airport for your return trip home. (B)
