Dance 10 Scandinavian Tour 2027

Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Sunday June 20: Overnight Flight

Departure from San Francisco on your Scandinavian Performance Tour!

Day 2, Monday June 21: Copenhagen

Arrive in Copenhagen and meet your Tour Manager in the arrivals hall. Transfer to your hotel for check in and time to refresh and relax. Your Tour Manager will bring you for a walking tour to familiarize yourself with the city. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant this evening. (D)

Day 3, Tuesday June 22: Copenhagen

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Later this morning a local guide leads you on a city tour of Copenhagen passing the famous Little Mermaid statue (inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale), Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament, The Royal Danish Opera, Nyhavn with its chic restaurants and charming small boats, the bustling Town Hall Square, Stroget shopping mile and much more. This afternoon enjoy an independent visit to Tivoli Gardens, a national treasure. Enjoy free time for dinner on your own in Copenhagen this evening. (B)

Day 4, Wednesday June 23: Copenhagen

After breakfast at your hotel, the morning is free in Copenhagen. There is an optional tour of Scandinavia's largest Renaissance Castle, Frederiksborg Castle. Highlights of this tour include the Audience Chamber, the Baronial Hall and castle chapel with the coats of arms of the Knights and the Order of the Elephant and the Grand Cross and more. Later this afternoon, there is time set aside for rehearsal for this evening's performance in Copenhagen. Celebrate a fabulous performance with dinner together at a local restaurant. (B,D) Dinner. Overnight: COPENHAG

Day 5, Thursday June 24: Overnight Ferry

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a free morning to enjoy shopping or self arranged visits to sites such as The Louisiana modern Art Museum, Design museum, or the House of Calsberg. Later this afternoon, transfer to the post of Copenhagen to board the overnight ferry to Oslo. Dinner is served on board the ferry this evening. (B,D)

Day 6, Friday June 25: Oslo

Enjoy breakfast on board the ferry this morning before docking in Oslo. Upon arrival, meet a local guide for a tour of Oslo visiting the Vigeland Sculpture Park, Holmenkollen Ski jump, Viking Ship museum. During the tour you will also pass the City Hall, Royal Palace and the bustling Karl Johan street full of shops and cafes. The rest of the afternoon is free after hotel check in to enjoy the city on your own. Your free evening allows you to dine on your own and enjoy the many culinary options of the city. (B)

Day 7, Saturday June 26: Oslo

After breakfast at your hotel and a leisurely morning, the day is free as you prepare for your performance in Oslo. Celebrate another amazing performance with dinner on your own this evening. (B)

Day 8, Sunday June 27: Karlstad

After breakfast at your hotel and check-out, drive to Karlstad, a compact Swedish city with wide, tree-lined streets, avenues, promenades and squares. After free time for lunch on your own, enjoy a short walking tour of Karlstad visiting the main square with its lively shops and cafes, the old stone bridge, which offeres some lovely views to the city, Karlstad Cathedral, and the riverside promenade. After check-in at your hotel, there is time to refresh before rehearsal and your performance for a large local crowd. Enjoy time for dinner on your own. (B)

Day 9, Monday June 28: Stockholm

After breakfast at your hotel and hotel check-out. drive to Stockholm and meet a local guide for a tour visiting the old town with its charming narrow streets, passing the Royal Palace and the famous Great Church, the Old Town Market Square, and see the house that was once home to two members of ABBA. Also included is a tour of the Vasa Ship museum, the only preserved seventeenth century ship in the world considered to be a unique art treasure. Enjoy dinner on your own. (B)

Day 10, Tuesday June 29: Stockholm

After a leisurely start and breakfast at your hotel, the day is free as you prepare for your final performance of the tour. Celebrate an amazing performance tour at your special farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 11, Wednesday June 30: Departure

After breatfast and hotel check-out, transfer to the airport for return flight to San Francisco. (B)
