Day 1, Saturday March 20: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Sunday March 21: Thessaloniki

Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, meet your Encore Tour Manager and begin to explore this beautiful city along the Mediterranean shore, included one of the most picturesque seaside promenades in Europe. Enjoy dinner together this evening in a local restaurant. (D)

Day 3, Monday March 22: Thessaloniki

This morning, a local guide takes you on a sightseeing tour of Thessoloniki. Entance is included to the world-class Archaeological Museum. Have time for lunch on your own, then rehearse for tonight's debut concert performance at a local venue. A possible joint concert with Thessaloniki youth orchestra to be confirmed. Enjoy dinner together tonight. (B,D)

Day 4, Tuesday March 23: Larissa

Today depart for Larissa. En route, visit the charming town of Meteora where you will have a guided visit of its famous monasteries. Continue to Larissa where you will check into your next hotel and enjoy a delicious Greek dinner together. (B,D)

Day 5, Wednesday March 24: Larissa

This morning, explore this provincial, university town has been inhabited for almost 10,000 years with your Tour Manager. This afternoon, rehearse for your next concert performance which will take place tonightat a local venue. Enjoy dinner together tonight. (B,D)

Day 6, Thursday March 25: Athens

A scenic drive through vineyards and olive groves brings you to Delphi, the center of the universe for ancient Greeks. A local guide shows you the ancient site where ancient Greeks asked for counsel from its fabled oracle. Visit the Temple of Apollo and the Delphi Archaeological Museum, featuring artifacts unearthed during local excavations. Enjoy dinner together. (B,D)

Day 7, Friday March 26: Athens

Greet the day with a guided sightseeing tour that reveals the glories of ancient Greece. You'll see the Acropolis. Then view the Agora, followed by a stroll through the Acropolis Museum, a modern architectural jewel. The afternoon rehearse for your final concert performance which will take place this evening. A possible joing performance with the Athens Youth Orchestra or the Orchestra of the IIion Music School. Venue options include Megaro Mousikis, Pallas Theatre Athens, or the War museum amphitheater. Enjoy dinner together tonight. (B,D)

Day 8, Saturday March 27: Athens

This morning visit Cape Sounion, noted for its Temple of Poseidon, one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Athens. Return to Athens this afternoon where you'll have time to explore at your own pace. Tonight, celebrate your successful concert tour of Greece with a special farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 9, Sunday March 28: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
