Arrive in Korea in the late afternoon and meet your tour managers, before transferring to your hotel in time for dinner together (D)
Day 3, Wednesday June 28: Seoul
Today, after experiencing the 10am Changing of the Guard Ceremony, take a tour of the breathtaking Geongbokgung Palace, located in the heart of Seoul, and experience the traditional Hanbok Korean traditional dress! This afternoon take the cable car to the North Seoul Tower (and either a walk or the cable car down!) before an independent dinner (B)
Day 4, Thursday June 29: Seoul
After breakfast pay a visit to the famous Demilitarized Zone just north of the capital and learn about the division between North and South Korea and the continuing efforts for peace and reunification. After returning to the capital prepare for your first concert in a venue such the Suwon Church or the Anyang Arts Center in collaboration with a local choir before dinner together (B,D)
Day 5, Friday June 30: Busan
After breakfast and checking out, depart for the city of Gyeong-ju and visit the UNESCO Heritage site of Bulguksa Temple, dating back to the 8th Century and one of the most sacred Buddhist temple sites in Asia. Continue to the Daereungwon Tomb Complex to explore the Cheonmachong Tomb, before continuing to South Korea's second city, Busan, in time for an independent dinner (B)
Day 6, Saturday July 1: Busan
After breakfast pay your respects to fallen US and international military at the only UN-sponsored memorial Cemetery in the world. Later rehearse together and perform your next concert in collaboration with a local choir in a venue such as the Haeundae Culture Center before a later dinner and return to your hotel (B,D)
Day 7, Sunday July 2: Daegu
This morning you'll visit the Gamcheon Culture Village, known for its layered streets, twisted labyrinth-like alleys, and brightly painted houses, and home to many artisans and artists alike. Later continue to your final performance venue, which could be in one of Korea's 'mega churches' in the Busan area (B,D)
Day 8, Monday July 3: Seoul
After breakfast begin the journey back to the capital, stopping en route for an independent lunch. Later experience another cutural phenomenon in the form of the famous Nanta show, a hilarious blend of percussion and cooking, and guaranteed to raise a laugh before your farewell dinner tonight! (B,D)
Day 9, Tuesday July 4: Departure
After breakfast check out of your hotel and store your luggage. Visit the Itseon-Dong district, with its pretty alleyways of traditional Korean stores, cafes and bakeries, and restaurants. Later transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States, where due to the time difference you'll arrive the same day (B)
