Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Tuesday June 16: Montreal
Depart on your flight from LAX to Montreal, arriving in the early evening in time for dinner (D)
Day 2, Wednesday June 17: Montreal
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Montreal, including the historic streets of Old Montreal, the stunning Notre-Dame Basilica, and panoramic views from the Mount Royal overlook. Then visit to either the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, exploring the city’s rich artistic and historical treasures. A box unch is provide whilst you explore Old Montreal's cafés and boutiques. In the afternoon, gather for rehearsal and sound check at your performance venue. Your first concert will be this afternoon followed by dinner together this evening.. Overnight in Montreal. (B,L,D)
Day 3, Thursday June 18: Montreal
After breakfast check out and departing for Quebec City. Your first visit today is to the historic Huron Village on the edge of the city. Here you'll experience the history, food and culture of the Canadian First Nation Peoples with your Iroquois guide. After lunch the afternoon is free to explore charming Old Quebec, before dinner at your hotel. After dinner take a 'Quebec by night' tour, including a scenic ride across the majestic St. Lawrence River on the Quebec ferry boat, spectacular views of the illuminated Château Frontenac and the city’s historic fortifications. Back on shore, take the funiculaire glass elevator to the Dufferin Terrace for breathtaking panoramic views and perfect photo opportunities. (B.L,D)
Day 4, Friday June 19: Quebec
This morning after breakfast visit the Place Royale and Parliament Hill, before taking a tour of the famous Citadelle, still the official residence of both the monarch and Governor of Canada, which was the largest British fortress in North America. Later rehearse and perform your next concert in a local church or concert hall before dinner together (B,L,D)
Day 5, Saturday June 20: Quebec
After breakfast board your motor coach for a scenic tour of the Beaupré Coast, known for its sweeping panoramic views and unique cultural experiences. Begin with a visit to the Albert Gilles Copper Museum to admire hundreds of handcrafted copper statues, paintings, jewelry, and more, followed by the Christorama Museum, featuring 50 intricate silver tablets recounting the life of Christ. Enroute visit the famous Marie's Bread Oven to taste delicious bread made the same way for centuries. Conclude your adventure with a stop at Montmorency Falls—100 feet higher than Niagara Falls—an ideal spot for memorable photos. Return to your hotel with free time to freshen up before dinner at a local bistro. Overnight in Quebec City(B,LD)
Day 6, Sunday June 21: Quebec
After breakfast check out of your hotel, and depart for a local church, where you'll sing at the service and give a short recital afterwards (pending approval). Continue on your return to Montreal after lunch, where the afternoon is free to explore Montreal's 20 miles of underground malls and food course. Tonight sees a farewell dinner to celebrate your concert tour (B,L,D)
Day 7, Monday June 22: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and board your private coach. Depart for home with lasting memories of inspiring gospel music, meaningful fellowship, and the rich culture of Quebec and Montreal. (B,L)
