Arlington High School To Quebec City

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday April 17: Quebec

This morning, your luxury coach will meet you in Arlington for your journey north to Canada. Upon arrival in Québec City, check into your hotel and meet your local Tour Manager, who will accompany you throughout your stay. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a charming local bistro, where you’ll savor the flavors of the region’s renowned cuisine. Afterward, experience Québec by Night as you cross the majestic St. Lawrence River aboard the Québec Ferry Boat. Back on shore, ascend to the top of the cliff in the Funiculaire glass elevator for a breathtaking view of the illuminated city. (D)

Day 2, Saturday April 18: Quebec

This morning, participate in a workshop for your three ensembles, each working with its own expert clinician. Following the workshop, enjoy lunch before Arlington High School presents an exchange concert with a local school in Québec City. Later this afternoon, meet your local guide for a sightseeing tour of Québec City’s historic highlights. This evening, gather for a group dinner to share stories and experiences from the day. (B,D)

Day 3, Sunday April 19: Quebec

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before boarding the motorcoach for a scenic, guided tour along the beautiful Beaupré Coast. Highlights include visits to the fascinating Copper Museum, the historic Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, and a delicious stop at Marie’s Ovens for a sample of fresh bread with maple butter. You’ll also experience the natural beauty of Montmorency Falls Park, home to one of the tallest waterfalls in North America. Lunch will be on your own during the tour. This afternoon you will have all 3 ensembles perform at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, time depends on availablity. Return to the hotel for time to relax and enjoy the amenities before heading out for an evening of Quebecois tradition with dinner and entertainment at a lively Sugar Shack for your farewell dinner. Return to your hotel for overnight accommodations in Quebec City. (B.D)

Day 4, Monday April 20: Departure

Enjoy breakfast this morning. Have sometime to enjoy the city before you bid farewell to your Tour Manager and say "au revoir" to Canada as you depart for the journey home with a lunch stop on the way! (B)
