Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Saturday June 20: Overnight Flight
Departure from the United States.
Day 2, Sunday June 21: Madrid
Bienvenidos a Espana! Arrive in Madrid, meet your Encore Tour Manager and settle in before exploring the wide avenues and open plazas of Spain's capital city. (B,D)
Day 3, Monday June 22: Madrid
Madrid's rich heritage comes alive on your guided sightseeing tour of classic Spanish boulevards, grand plazas, and the diverse architecture of modern-day Madrid. Highlights include the Plaza de Espana with its statue of Don Quixote, and the famous bullring Las Ventas. Then visit the magnificent Prado, one of the world's premier art museums. Dinner together tonightt. (B,D)
Day 4, Tuesday June 23: Madrid
On the day of the concert, depart for Segovia city and enjoy a scenic drive before arriving in the afternoon. Once there, take a leisurely walk through the charming Old Town, soaking in the historic streets and landmarks. Afterward, visit the stunning Alcázar of Segovia, a fairytale-like castle offering breathtaking views. Later in the day, there will be a sound check and rehearsal to prepare for the evening’s performance. Before the concert, enjoy a delicious dinner together at a local restaurant, sampling Segovian cuisine. Finally, head to the concert venue, ready to give an unforgettable performance. (D)
Day 5, Wednesday June 24: Seville
Journey today to Andalucia's capital, Seville. On route visit the stunning city of Cordoba. After lunch arrive in Seville and have a sightseeing tour with a local expert includes its immense Gothic Cathedral, burial place of Christopher Columbus, and the grand Giralda Tower.(B,D)
Day 6, Thursday June 25: Seville
This morning,visit the iconic Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and the stunning Alcázar, a beautiful palace with rich history and intricate architecture. In the afternoon, gather for your next rehearsal before heading to Puerto de Santa María for your evening concert. After the performance, enjoy a delightful dinner together before returning to Seville for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 7, Friday June 26: Granada
A journey to Spain's old white villages of Ronda includes local guide to bring you to the old town and gorge. Then drive through Andalucia's sunflower fields and olive groves to Granada, the former seat of Spain's Moorish kingdom, in time for dinner and a Flamenco show! . (B,D)
Day 8, Saturday June 27: Granada
A local guide provides commentary during your sightseeing tour as you visit the legendary Alhambra, the most magnificent of all the Moorish palaces in Spain, and wander through the aromatic Generalife Gardens. This afternoon, rehearse and prepare for your final concert at the Granada Festival! (B,D)
Day 9, Sunday June 28: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Airport
