Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Thursday April 1: Overnight Flight
Departure from the United States.
Day 2, Friday April 2: Brussels
Arrive at Brussels, meet your tour manager and make the short transfer to Bruges. This afternoon take a guided City Tour of this fairy-tale traffic-free town with cobblestone lanes and charming canals. You will see Grôte Markt, the Provinciaal Hof, The Saint Salvator Cathedral, the main church of the city and the impressive Church of Our Lady, the tallest structure in the city and the second-tallest brickwork tower in the world. Return to Brussels in time for dinner tonight is in a local restaurant (B)
Day 3, Saturday April 3: Brussels
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Brussels with a local guide (on the coach). You will see the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels and part of the UNESCO word heritage list, Manneken Pis, a famous statue which is one of the city’s landmarks, Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral and the Royal Palace. You'll also have a visit to the Musical Instrument Museum before free time for lunch on your own. Today's performance could be at the Cathedral itself, before dinner together in a local restaurant. (B)
Day 4, Sunday April 4: Bayeux
After breakfast check out and journey south towards Belgium's largest neighbor, the Republic of France! Make an en route stop in the city of Rouen, where it may be possible to sing in the Cathedral or the ornate baroque church of St Maclou. Continue to your hotel in time for dinner (B,D)
Day 5, Monday April 5: Bayeux
Spend the morning remembering not only a part of France's history, but a very important part of our own past when you visit the famous D-Day beaches in Normandy. Picture the chaos of June 6, 1944 at the bomb-scarred landscape of Pointe du Hoc then visit the the serene American War Cemetery in St. Laurent, overlooking Omaha Beach. You may have the opportunity to lay a wreath at the American Cemetery and sing the National Anthem. Later rehearse for your first concert which could take place at the Eglise St Aubin sur Mer, before dinner together (B,D)
Day 6, Tuesday April 6: Bayeux
This morning journey to the historic island commune of Mont St Michel, an iconic French landmark that has graced a thousand images! The island is known for its stunning medieval abbey perched atop a rocky islet, surrounded by tidalwaters. Renowned for its dramatic Gothic architecture, theabbey attracts millions of visitors annually, offering breathtaking views of the surroundingbay. Return to Bayeux in time for a group dinner together (B,D)
Day 7, Wednesday April 7: Paris
This morning check out and journey to Paris. On arrival deposit your luggage at your hotel before diving straight into the city with a panoramic sightseeing tour of the main sights, inlcuding the Champs Elysess and Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and the Ile de la Cite. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner together in a Paris restaurant. (B,D)
Day 8, Thursday April 8: Paris
This morning you'll visit one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Eiffel Tower, where elevators will whisk you more tan 350ft to the top for unparalleled views over the city. This afternoon's concert takes place at La Madeleine, one of the most famous churches in Paris and the home for many years of the composer Gabriel Faure. Following the performance, enjoy dinner together in a local restaraunt. (B,D)
Day 9, Friday April 9: Paris
This morning sees the possibility to sing at the Notre Dame Cathedral (strictly subject to acceptance by audition), now gloriously restored following the devastating fire in 2019, and situated at the very heart of Paris from which all distances in France are measured! Later explore the colorful Montrmartre district on Le Petit Train sightseeing tour, and mingle with the artists and poets at the foot of Sacre Coeur Cathedral. This evening after dinner take a cruise on the river Seine and bid farewell to the iconic illuminated buildings (B,D)
Day 10, Saturday April 10: Departure
Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
