Itinerary

Day 1, Sunday June 20: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Monday June 21: Worcester

Arrive at London Heathrow Airport and meet your awaiting motorcoaches for the scenic drive through the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire and the picturesque Cotswolds, continuing onward to Worcestershire.Check into your hotel in Worcester and enjoy a relaxed walk around the city, taking in its charming streets and local atmosphere. Gather this evening for dinner together at a local restaurant to begin your journey through England. (D)

Day 3, Tuesday June 22: Worcester

Begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Worcester Cathedral, one of England’s most historic and inspiring sacred spaces. Prepare for rehearsal in anticipation of your organ and orchestra performance this afternoon. The ensemble will have time to settle into the venue, warm up, and refine the program before presenting a memorable concert of Saint Saens Organ Symphony. Dinner together concludes the day, reflecting on your musical accomplishments and the beauty of Worcester. (B, D)

Day 4, Wednesday June 23: Brighton

Travel through the English countryside with a visit to the beautiful village of Lacock Abbey, a historic former monastery filled with medieval charm and picturesque cloisters. Stroll through the storybook streets of Lacock, where centuries-old stone cottages create an unforgettable setting. Continue on to the spectacular and colorful city of Bristol known for its vibrant harborside, rich maritime history, and thriving arts scene. Upon arrival, enjoy time to explore this dynamic city before gathering together for dinner. You may also stay in Bath at the Holiday Inn depending on availablity.

Day 5, Thursday June 24: Wells

Travel to one of England’s most picturesque small cities, surrounded by rolling meadows and rich history—Wells. Explore its charming streets and landmarks, including the magnificent Wells Cathedral, known for its outstanding choral tradition. a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.Following time to explore, gather for rehearsal and a collaborative concert performance with a local chorus. The program is ideally suited to Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, and we are coordinating with local choral societies and cathedral music directors to bring this partnership to life. We are also exploring the possibility of an educational exchange with a nearby performing arts academy. A reception will follow the performance, offering time to connect with your British counterparts before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 6, Friday June 25: London

Today travel either by train from Bath to London. Enjoy a full-day excursion to London, traveling from Bristol into the heart of the capital for a day of exploration. Discover many of London’s most iconic historic landmarks, from the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower of London. Wander through world-class museums, stroll along the Thames, or explore the vibrant neighborhoods that give the city its unique character. In the early evening, gather for dinner on your own in Covent Garden, enjoying its lively atmosphere and street performers before returning to the hotel after a rewarding day in one of the world’s great cities.

Day 7, Saturday June 26: Bath

Enjoy a full day touring Bath, England’s most perfectly preserved and beautiful Georgian city, gracefully situated along the River Avon. With your Tour Manager, explore Bath’s remarkable architecture, sweeping crescents, Roman heritage, and historic streets that reflect centuries of cultural richness. Today’s musical highlight features your final organ and orchestra concert, presented in one of the city’s inspiring venues, to be determined after your site inspection. This memorable day beautifully blends history, culture, and music in one of England’s most enchanting destinations. After have your farewell dinner in celebration of your tour to England!

Day 8, Sunday June 27: Departure

Wake up this morning, pack your bags and head toStonehenge before you Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
