Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday July 12: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Tuesday July 13: Salzburg

Meet your Tour Manager in Munich and travel to Salzburg for a walking tour.  Visit Mozart's Birthplace Museum on the lively Getreidegasse, and then take a funicular ride up to the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress for panoramic city views. Check into your hotel, relax, and have dinner together. (D)

Day 3, Wednesday July 14: Salzburg

This morning, depart for Hallein where an unforgettable adventure awaits at the Hallein Salt Mines. Hop aboard the rollercoaster slides for an exhilarating experience as you explore the depths of the historic salt mines! Afterward, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour through the charming city of Salzburg, known for its rich musical heritage. Stroll through the historic town center to see Mozartplatz, the stunning cathedral, the graceful Pegasus Fountain, and the beautiful Mirabell Gardens. Later this afternoon, you will have the opportunity to attend a special master class with Andrea Fournier, the Choir Director of the Salzburg Cathedral (pending approval). Dinner will be on your own. Day 4, Thursday July 15: Vienna

This morning, depart for Vienna with a stop at the magnificent Melk Abbey, where you'll have an opportunity for an informal sing-along amidst its stunning Baroque architecture. Continue your journey to Vienna, where you'll meet your local guide for an enlightening tour through the city center. Discover the city's historical heart, where legendary composers like Mozart and Beethoven once lived and worked. This evening, you'll check into the World Peace Festival, setting the stage for an evening of cultural immersion. Dinner will be on your own. (B)

Day 5, Friday July 16: Vienna

Today is on your own arrangements as you participate in the World Peace Choral Festival! (B)

Day 6, Saturday July 17: Vienna

Today, you will attend the World Peace Choral Festival! Dinner will be on your own. (B)

Day 7, Sunday July 18: Vienna

Today is the last day of the World Peace Choral Festival. Vienna is the historical center of the musical world as well as being a UNESCO heritage city. Discover the rich architectural wonders from the great Stephansdom and Baroque castles to the 19th century Ringstrasse lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. Your morning panoramic guided tour will include the highlights of the city including the Stephansdom, Vienna Opera and Hofburg Palace. Enjoy lunch on your own and then take a guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace. At the end of your tour, learn about one of Austria's most famous sweets during a streudel-making demonstration (and tasting!). Tonight celebrate your successful performance tour of Austria with a special farewell dinner together. (B,D)

Day 8, Monday July 19: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
