The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday June 21: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Tuesday June 22: Munich

Willkommen in Deutschland! Arrive at Munich Airport and meet your Encore Tour Manager. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to relax, unpack and explore the beautiful city of Munich. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant (D)

Day 3, Wednesday June 23: Munich

Atfter breakfast take a trip to visit the spectacular fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, one of King Ludwig's lavish palaces built upon an imposing facade, and later the inspiration for all the Disney Castles! Later today perform your first concert, which could be a shared concert with local musicians in the small town of Benediktbeuren, with a shared dinner together after your performance! (B,D)

Day 4, Thursday June 24: Leipzig

After breakfast depart for the journey north towards the former East Germany. En route stop off in the famous town of Bayreuth and visit the world-famous opera house, home to some of the most spectacular performances of Richard Wagner's operas. Continue to your hotel in Leipzig in time for dinner (B,D)

Day 5, Friday June 25: Leipzig

After breakfast in your hotel you will enjoy a Bach-themed guided tour of historic Leipzig, including visits to the Bach Archive with its original manuscripts and the Thomaskirche where the great composer rests. This afternoon transfer to your next concert venue, which could be a collaboration concert in the Church of Reconciliation or the Music Academy in Dresden. Dinner is in a restaurant this evening convenient to your performance location (B,D)

Day 6, Saturday June 26: Berlin

After breakfast check out and journey to the German capital, one of Europe's 'youngest' cities. Dive straight into the Western half of the city with a tour of the iconic Berliner Philharmonie concert hall, before some free time shopping on the famous 'Ku-damm' shopping street. Dinner will be together in a restaurant this evening. (B,D)

Day 7, Sunday June 27: Berlin

This morning, following breakfast at the hotel, experience the fascinating recent history of this once-divided city with a visit to the site of the Berlin Wall, the somber Holocaust Memorial, and Checkpoint Charlie, the famous crossing between East and West Berlin and an enduring symbol of the Cold War. Later depart for your final concert venue, which could be as part of the major summer festival in the Cathedral of Brandenburg. Enjoy a farewell dinner before a later return to your hotel (B,D)

Day 8, Monday June 28: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States (B)
