Itinerary

Day 1, Thursday April 15: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Friday April 16: Edinburgh

Welcome to Edinburgh, Scotland! Meet your Tour Manager at the airport in Edinburgh. Have a day to enjoy Edinburgh as your Tour Manager gives you a tour of this beautiful city. After you will check in to your hotel, step back in time on a guided tour through Edinburgh’s only preserved 17th-century street. Hidden beneath the Royal Mile, this labyrinth of Old Town alleyways is steeped in myths, mysteries, and fascinating tales. Discover what life was like for the people who once lived, worked, and died here as your guide brings their stories to life. Then, Enjoy a welcome dinner together at a restaurant. (D)

Day 3, Saturday April 17: Edinburgh

This morning after breakfast,Enjoy a unique opportunity for cultural and musical exchange with pupils and teachers from a distinguished Edinburgh music institution (requested schools include the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Edinburgh, Edinburgh Music School, or St. Mary’s Music School). The day will feature collaborative rehearsals, engaging master classes led by teachers from both schools, and joint ensemble work with local students. The experience will conclude with a celebratory pizza party, fostering new friendships and shared musical memories. (B,D)

Day 4, Sunday April 18: Edinburgh

Begin your exploration of Edinburgh with a guided walking tour through the historic Old Town. Stroll along the famous Royal Mile, uncovering centuries of history, charming closes, and architectural treasures, before ascending to the iconic Edinburgh Castle for breathtaking views of the city. Later, take time to rehearse and prepare for a memorable joint exchange concert, sharing your music with local audiences in a remarkable setting such as the magnificent St. Giles’ Cathedra

Day 5, Monday April 19: London

Travel this morning aboard the high-speed LNER intercity train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to London’s King’s Cross Station, a scenic journey of approximately four and a half hours. Your instruments will travel separately in a private instrument van for safe and secure transport to London. Upon arrival, three private coaches will be waiting to transfer the group from King’s Cross Station to the hotel. This evening, reboard your coaches for transfer to the theatre district, where you will enjoy free time to dine in small groups at your own expense in one of London’s vibrant neighborhoods, such as Covent Garden or Victoria before attending a musical West End Show.

Day 6, Tuesday April 20: London

Travel in comfort aboard three private coaches as you enjoy a full day of sightseeing in London. Begin with a visit to the iconic Tower of London, where centuries of history and legend await. Later, continue to Westminster Abbey, exploring its stunning architecture and rich heritage with the aid of personal audio guides, before experiencing the moving tradition of Evensong within this world-famous cathedral. Conclude your day with a three-course dinner at a nearby local restaurant or a buffet dinner within walking distance of your hotel.

Day 7, Wednesday April 21: London

Enjoy a guided tour of the elegant Georgian city of Bath with your Tour Managers, including entrance to the fascinating Roman Baths. Later, board your private coaches for an evening transfer and sit down to a two-course pre-concert dinner at a local restaurant, at your hotel, or opt for a buffet dinner. The evening culminates with a world-class classical music performance, at one of London’s renowned concert halls. (B,D)

Day 8, Thursday April 22: London

Journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, the charming hometown of William Shakespeare. Visit Anne Hathaway’s picturesque cottage and gardens before stepping inside Shakespeare’s Birthplace House and Museum, where the Bard’s story comes to life. In the evening, gather with your group for a festive farewell three-course dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance of your hotel. (B,D)

Day 9, Friday April 23: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
