Day 1, Tuesday May 4: Overnight Flight
Departure from the United States on your overnight flight.
Day 2, Wednesday May 5: Under Own Arrangements
Arrive in Frankfurt and transfer independently to Eisenach
Day 3, Thursday May 6: Under Own Arrangements
Day 4, Friday May 7: Under Own Arrangements
Day 5, Saturday May 8: Under Own Arrangements
Day 6, Sunday May 9: Under Own Arrangements
Day 7, Monday May 10: Halle
Meet your Encore Tour Manager and transfer to Halle. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and settle in before gathering for a group dinner together. This evening, participate in collaborative rehearsal opportunities with the orchestra and choir at Halle University. Rehearsal arrangements are the Orchestra at 7 pm today. Enjoy dinner together. (D)
Day 8, Tuesday May 11: Halle
Today is yours to explore Halle at your own pace. This afternoon, rehearse and perform your debut concert of the tour as a local venue in the Halle area. Options include Marktkirche, Pauluskirche, or St Peter and Paul's Church or St Mary's Church in the nearby town of Delitzsch. Enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,D)
Day 9, Wednesday May 12: Halle
This morning is yours to explore Halle at your own pace.This evening the choir rehearsal from 7-9 in Halle (B)
Day 10, Thursday May 13: Trier
After breakfast, travel to Weimar, a city renowned for its rich musical and cultural heritage. Weimar was home to Johann Sebastian Bach and later became closely associated with Franz Liszt, whose musical legacy adds a special dimension to the city’s historic charm. Enjoy the scenic countryside as you continue your journey toward Trier, Germany’s oldest city and a treasure trove of Roman history. Upon arrival, explore many of Trier’s remarkable landmarks, including ancient Roman gates, charming market squares, and picturesque streets filled with history and culture. This evening, enjoy dinner together. (B,D)
Day 11, Friday May 14: Trier
This morning, visit the Imperial Baths in Trier. Enjoy time for lunch, then journey to Luxembourg where you'll have the opportunity to come together for a workshop with local clinicians. Return to Trier and have dinner together. (B,D)
Day 12, Saturday May 15: Trier
Today, travel to the historic Belgian city of Ghent, one of Flanders' most captivating destinations, known for its beautifully preserved medieval architecture, scenic canals, and vibrant cultural atmosphere. Stroll through the charming city center, where centuries-old guild houses line the waterways and bustling squares showcase the city's rich heritage. An informal singing opportunity may be arranged in a public setting, subject to local approval. Return to Trier in the evening and enjoy dinner together. (B,D)
Day 13, Sunday May 16: Metz
Depart Trier and travel to Metz, France. Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation walk with your Tour Manager through the historic city center where you'll see the Place d'Armes, the Cathedral Quarter, and the charming old town. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner together. (B,D)
Day 14, Monday May 17: Metz
Explore Metz, a city renowned for its blend of French and German influences. Visit the magnificent Saint-Étienne Cathedral, celebrated for its extraordinary Gothic architecture and stunning stained-glass windows. This afternoon, rehearse and present your next concert as part of a joint performance at the Basilique Saint-Vincent de Metz or similar (subject to availability and approval). Enjoy dinner together after your performance. (B,D)
Day 15, Tuesday May 18: Paris
Travel to Paris and check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to begin exploring the City of Light. Entrance is included to the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Evening at leisure. (B)
Day 16, Wednesday May 19: Paris
Discover Paris with a guided sightseeing tour featuring iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. This afternoon come together for rehearsal for your final concert performance. Options include a performance at Notre Dame des Blancs Manteaux or similar, either as part of a joint performance or solo performance. Enjoy dinner together tonight. (B,D)
Day 17, Thursday May 20: Paris
Depart Paris for Versailles. Your visit includes the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed, and the breathtaking surroundings. Don't worry if you don't have time to cover every room of his vast palace. The best stuff is all in the gardens and grounds: all 1,976-acre gardens, 200,000 trees, 50 fountains and 620 jets of water worth. Return to Paris where this evening, you'll attend a concert in one of Paris's renowned performance venues. (B,D)
Day 18, Friday May 21: Departure
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States. (B)
