Itinerary

Day 1, Thursday June 17: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Friday June 18: Porto

Bem-vindo a Portugal! Your Tour Manager will meet you upon arrival in Porto airport and transfer you to your centrally located hotel. Enjoy an orientation walk together with your Tour Manager and begin to explore this beautiful maritime city! Tonight, have dinner together before turning in for a good night's sleep! (D)

Day 3, Saturday June 19: Porto

Today a local guide takes you on a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto. One of the most ancient European cities, the dramatic streets and the surrounding countryside have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a boat trip on the Douro river before preparing for tonight's performance in a venue such as Porto's magnificent cathedral. Enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,D)

Day 4, Sunday June 20: Porto

This morning take a guided tour of the FC Porto soccer stadium, home of one of Europe's most successful teams. This afternoon's performance is in the Porto Conservatory of Music (B,L,D) (B,L,D) After breakfast, provided at your hotel every morning, you will depart on a full day excursion to Cascais and Estoril. Cascais is a small and picturesque fishing town. Enjoy its natural beauty and the Fort of Cascais, built to protect the city from pirate invasions! Estoril was once a small spa town conveniently placed between Lisbon and Cascais and became well known as a prime residence for several European royal exiles! At its height, its visitors knew Estoril as the "Portuguese Riviera". Reconvene for this afternoon’s rehearsal in preparation for this evening's debut concert! A possible venue is the Forum Municipal Luisa Todi in Setubal. Tonight, dinner will be together as a group. (B,D)

Day 5, Monday June 21: Fatima

Check out of your hotel this morning and depart for Aveiro, 'the Portuguese Venice' today. Aveiro is one of the country's most unique cities, where urban sophistication and modernity meet and merge with the historic marine history of the city. You'll take a trip on one of the famous painted Moliceiro boats through the city's waterways, before continuing after lunch to the coast at Figuera do Foz. Here you can take a personalized surfing lesson, or visit the Adventure Park for adrenalin-fuelled zipline rides. Later continue to your next overnight stop in Fatima (B,L,D)

Day 6, Tuesday June 22: Fatima

This morning visit the famous Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, an important pilgrimage site for Catholicism. After lunch continue to Batalha where today's performance is at the stunning Batalha Monastery (B,L,D)

Day 7, Wednesday June 23: Fatima

Discover Coimbra, the medieval and intellectual capital of Portugal, during a guided walking tour this morning. Coimbra's University has been the country's greatest for the past five centuries and a central part of Portugal. After lunch rehearse for your next performance of the tour, which could be in the Coimbra Music Conservatory. After tonight's performance, enjoy dinner together. (B,L,D)

Day 8, Thursday June 24: Lisbon

This morning check out and journey towards the capital city Lisbon, stopping first en route in the coastal town of Cascais and the beautiful 12th Century walled city of Obidos. After checking into your final hotel of the tour, enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 9, Friday June 25: Porto

Today after breakfast take a brief orientation tour of the city, before diving into the local cuisine with a traditional Portuguese pastry-making workshop! Later perform the first of two concerts as part of the Lisbon International Music Fest in the atmospheric setting of the Ruinas de Carmo, a ruined church now used as a concert venue (B,L,D)

Day 10, Saturday June 26: Porto

THis morning explore the maritime city from the water on an amphibious boat-bus tour. Then prepare for your final concert of the tour, your second as part of the Lisbon Music Fest in the famous 'Se' Cathedral. Enjoy a special farewell dinner together this evening to celebrate your successful performance tour. (B,L,D)

Day 11, Sunday June 27: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
