Announcements & Reminders

  • Updated Vaccination Policy: As we look ahead to our trip, many destinations are now either denying entry to unvaccinated visitors or have introduced vaccination requirements in order to move freely within the country. Delivering a safe and enjoyable travel experience for all becomes difficult to achieve in the close quarters of an educational group tour when some travelers are vaccinated while others are not. Given these considerations, The ACIS policy (as of December 2021) is that all group leaders and travelers aged 12 and above will need to be fully vaccinated in order to travel. Read More

Founded by the Romans in the 3rd century BC, it’s known for its artistic treasures and fine architecture, from Gothic to Modernist. Antoni Gaudí, one of Catalonia’s most notable sons, was a Modernist architect whose distinctive style is revered to this day. After, you’ll be able to study the intricate designs inside and out of his still-unfinished Sagrada Familia and stroll whimsical Parc Güell. Tonight, we’ll have a tapas dinner in true Spanish style: you try different local specialties as you sidle up next to the locals for whom this is a culturally important and typical way to spend an evening.
