Sing MIT Festival

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Tuesday July 4: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Wednesday July 5: Vienna

Arrive in Vienna and meet your Tour Manager at the airport! Transfer to your centrally located hotel and settle in. Enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,D)

Day 3, Thursday July 6: Vienna

This morning, you will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Vienna to see this incredible city's highlights, such as the Ringstrasse, the Opera House, the Musikverein, and the beautiful Hofburg Palace. Later this afternoon, you will begin your participation in the Sing Mit Festival. Enjoy an afternoon workshop conducted by Gerald Wirth, the Vienna Boys Choir President and Artistic Director! This evening, get to know some fellow festival attendees during a special Welcome Reception in the rooftop of St. Stephen's Cathedral! (B,D)

Day 4, Friday July 7: Vienna

After breakfast, you will go to St. Stephen's Cathedral where you will participate in a day series of workshops with the President and Artistic Director of the Vienna Boys' Choir, Gerald Wirth, as part of the Sing Mit Music Festival. Midday, you will have a break to have lunch on your own. This evening, have dinner together in a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5, Saturday July 8: Vienna

Today you will return to St. Stephen's Cathedral for warm up and dress rehearsal. Afterward, you will have time for an independent lunch and some last minute shopping for souvenirs. Enjoy an early farewell dinner, then return to St. Stephen's Cathedral. Tonight, perform Haydn's Creation as part of the Sing Mit Festival! (B,D)

Day 6, Sunday July 9: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
