Welcome to Chicago! Meet your Tour Manager and visit the Field Museum of Natural History. Inside you’ll explore the 20,000-square-foot Ancient Americas Exhibit and learn about the Aztec and the Inca societies, and see a full-sized replica of the original Aztec Sun Stone. This evening, roll up your sleeves for a hands Paella cooking lesson. Then stay for a dinner amidst murals of the Spanish countryside at one of Chicago's finest Spanish restaurants. After dinner, head to Navy Pier - the Midwest’s principal tourist attraction with rides, shops and plenty of culture.
Today begins with a visit at the National Museum of Mexican Art, the largest Latino arts institution in the United States with works of art spanning 3,000 years to admire. After lunch, visit Millennium Park where you can pause for a photo at “the Electric Kidney Bean”. Next, your Tour Manager will introduce you to the works of the Spanish Masters and some of Spain's most famous modern artists - Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso – at the Art Institute of Chicago. Start your last evening in Chicago immersed in Colombian culture while you enjoy an authentic Colombian dinner. Lastly, enjoy a bird’s eye view of Chicago atop the John Hancock Building, where you will ascend 1100 feet per minute to Chicago 360, the 94th floor observatory.
Following breakfast, visit the Shedd Aquarium where the stunning architecture of the building is just as much worth paying attention to as the many aquatic animals and sea life. As no trip to Chicago can be complete without some time on the Magnificent Mile, spend some time here for last minute souvenirs before returning home.
