General Notes
- Lunch is normally included on this day instead of dinner.
- Call or text the local guide at least one day in advance to confirm appointment and meeting place.
- The local guide pays all entrance fees.
- Whisper sets are delivered to the hotel before arrival. Distribute headsets and test before departure. Bring spare batteries, extra sets, and earphones.
- Sightseeing is entirely on foot – comfortable shoes are essential.
- Dress code for Cathedral: no hats, bare shoulders, or thighs.
- Toledo is easy to get lost in. Keep the group together; assign someone to stay at the rear.
- If the Cathedral is closed, the guide will explain outside and substitute San Juan de los Reyes.
- Public restrooms are scarce. Guides often include a brief café stop; nearest is by Iglesia de Santo Tomé.
- If lunch is in the old town, consider doing the panoramic drive and sword factory beforehand. Rejoin bus at Puente San Martín after lunch.
- If participants buy swords, shipping may be required (especially if taking the AVE later). Suarez offers receipts dated within 24 hours of departure, but shipping to the final destination is preferable.
- Warn group about Moreno shops—reports of tourist scams.
- For afternoon visits with lunch in the old town, arrange rendezvous with guide there.
